The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on Monday announced the appointment of five of its senior staff members to the grade of director.

According to the board, the appointment was based on result of the promotion exercise conducted on March 27, 2024.

In a statement issued by the commission, the appointments were approved at a meeting of the board held on June 21, 2024.

The five directors according to the commission include the Director of Inspectorate Mr Ajibola Bankole; the Director of technology, strategy & research Mr Ahmad Ibrahim Adamu; the Director legal, enforcement and market development Dr. Talmiz Usman; the Director, finance & accounts, Mr. Kamaludeen Barde, and Director, human resources and administration Mr. Rasaaq Salami.

The commission said “This restructuring ensures that the organisational structure aligns with the Commission’s strategic goals and objectives, aiding the executive management in achieving its mandate”.
