Nigerian forward Chukwudi Igbokwe has joined Portuguese topflight club Rio Ave.

The Portuguese outfit announced the signing on their website.

Rio Ave Futebol Clube – Futebol, SAD reached an agreement with athlete Chukwudi Igbokwe to sign a contract valid until June 2026.

The 22-year-old forward has Nigerian nationality and trained this Wednesday under coach Luís Freire, at the Rio Ave FC Stadium.

Last season, Chukwudi played for KAA Gent in Belgium and is currently free of any contract.

While serving his country, he played for the Nigeria U23 team.
