In a poignant moment that touched the hearts of many, TV actress and singer Babes Wodumo shared a heartfelt voice note she sent to her late husband, Mampintsha, on WhatsApp. With raw emotion, Babes poured out her grief and love, asking for divine comfort in her struggle. “God, please be with her,” she said, her voice trembling with sorrow.

The voice note, filled with tears and a profound sense of loss, captured Babes expressing her enduring love for Mampintsha. She confessed that she still tries to call his number, hoping for some connection to her beloved.

The grief-stricken message resonated deeply with fans and fellow celebrities alike. According to Briefly News, Simphiwe Ngema, who has endured a similar heartache, also opened up about her coping mechanisms. When asked by a fan how she manages her own grief, Ngema admitted, “It is not something that just goes away. You just have to learn to live with it. Some days are different. There are days where you cry like it happened yesterday and then there are special days which get hard like birthdays and anniversaries. Seven years later and it still hurts.”

Ngema revealed that, like Babes, she finds solace in watching videos and sending messages to her late husband. The shared experience of such profound loss brought a sense of solidarity among those who have walked the same painful path.

Despite the ongoing pain, Ngema has focused on her present, especially her life with Tino Chinyani, with whom she shares a child. She emphasised the importance of respecting her new life while still honouring her past. “Honestly, it is never easy. I try to keep my grief and love separate in order to respect him. Although he’s said I can talk to him about it, I don’t. It’s not fair on him. I’d rather speak to my family about it. I have to respect my new life and give it my all,” she explained.
