The Beneficiaries of Presidential Amnesty Programme PAP, from the eastern flank of the region, said, they would embark on protest to demand for their rights on Monday.

In a Statement, after an emergency meeting to put final plans together
for the protest, its leader, Commander Ekpo Ubog, said, the group would go on with the protest to demand for their rights to be carry along in the scheme of the programme, stressing that no amount of threat from certain quarters would deter or frustrate their plans.

They accused the interim administrator of PAP, Dr.Dennis Otuaro of romancing with those who wanted the programme to be wind up, and neglect those who fought for the continuation, of which everyone is enjoying.

He noted that beneficiaries in the eastern Zone who fought for Sustaining the programme are left to their
faith.

“Therefore, we cannot Continue to bear this inhuman treatment, in a programme that we wholeheartily embraced and
gave all what we have” he said.

According to him, ex-agitators from the
eastern Zone are demanding for the legitimate rights for inclusion in the programme.
