Blathnaid Treacy has given a glimpse into the adorable birthday party she and her husband Charlie threw for their daughter Nancy.

The couple were celebrating Nancy's first birthday and had a gathering to mark the occasion.

Blathnaid shared some stunning photos from the day as well as a heartfelt tribute to her daughter and their friends and family who came along.

She wrote: "What a lovely weekend celebrating our little girl, Nancy's first birthday. I'm shattered now after it all, but it was such a special day. Big love to our family for making such a fuss over our daughter. I'm so emotional, I can't believe we've been parents for a whole year to this magical, happy, beautiful brown eyed girl."
