Damian Priest has exceeded a lot of fans’ expectations with his world title reign. After cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania XL, many thought he would just be a transitional champion. However, he proved that he didn’t need The Judgment Day to be a champion and continued to defeat his challengers. Speaking about the faction, Priest mentioned the possibility of adding another member to the group.

While talking with The Indian Express, Damian Priest was asked which superstars he would like to add to The Judgment Day from past and present. Initially, the Archer of Infamy clarified that he had many favorite superstars, making it difficult for him to choose. He mentioned The Undertaker and Scott Hall from past superstars and stated it would have worked perfectly.

From the current crop of superstars, the World Heavyweight Champion chose Jey Uso. Despite their heated rivalry in 2023, Priest admitted that The Yeet Master had earned everyone’s respect and was very close to him. He expressed his desire to add him to The Judgment Day. Interestingly, the 42-year-old star defeated him and retained his title at Backlash in France.

From the current roster, I would like Jay Uso. He has got everybody’s respect and that’s legitimately like one of my boys now. So, if I could get Jay into the Judgement Day, that would be cool. Damian Priest via The Indian Express

Both stars have their work cut out at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE. The Judgment Day member will defend his title against the recently returned Seth Rollins with an exciting stipulation. If Rollins loses, he can never challenge for the title again, and if Priest loses, he must leave his beloved group. Meanwhile, Jey will look forward to becoming Mr. Money in the Bank by besting five other stars and grabbing the briefcase.

Damian Priest revealed his true feelings about WWE veteran R-Truth

Whether Jey joins Judgment Day or not, Priest doesn’t want a certain star to join the notorious group. The name in question is R-Truth, who has constantly tried to become a member of The Judgment Day since his return at Survivor Series last year. The 42-year-old star revealed how he felt about the veteran in an interview.

In the same interview, the former NXT North American Champion admitted that R-Truth was very funny. Priest added that it was really hard to be serious around him, no matter how much of a heel he was. He stated that when he was put into a hilarious situation with the 52-year-old veteran, he couldn’t help but laugh.

R-Truth is a funny, funny guy. It’s hard to stay serious around that guy. No matter how bad you are, no matter how hard you’re trying to be serious. He finds a way to hit you and that’s one of the areas you just have to smile and laugh. Very talented. One of everybody’s favourite people in the back. Damian Priest via The Indian Express

Truth and The Miz recently lost their tag team titles to Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, thanks to Liv Morgan . They vowed to take their titles back from the notorious group and leave SummerSlam as champions. It will be intriguing to see how the storyline progresses.
