A genre-bending audio odyssey to delight children and adults alike, the first two series of the award-winning radio drama Nero’s Class are now available in full.

SATURDAY 

Lyric Live, LyricFM, 7pm: Live from the stage of Bantry House as the pianist Alasdair Beatson is joined by the Dudok Quartet Amsterdam and violinist Esther Hoppe to perform works by Mozart, Bacewicz, and Fauré.

SUNDAY 

It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, But Sure Look..., RTÉ Gold, 6pm: Music-video and television director David Heffernan joins producer Eric Moore to look back over his career, including Phil Lynott's 'Old Town' video, and more.

Lyric Live, LyricFM, 7pm: Live from the stage of Bantry House for the closing concert of the 2024 West Cork Chamber Music Festival, featuring music by composers Ellen Lindquist and Rebecca Clarke plus works by Mendelssohn, Messiaen, and Beethoven.

MONDAY 

Na Drones, R na G, 10.15am: Drama series written by the late, well renowned playwright Johnny Chóil Mhaidhc Ó Coisdealbha, centered around the mundane life of two bachelors, first broadcast in 1975.

The Full Score, LyricFM, 1pm: The Scottish Chamber Orchestra bring Mendelssohn's Scottish works to life, including Fingal's Cave and the Scottish Symphony.

Camchuairt an Chonsairtín, R na G, 1.30pm: Recorded live at Ennis' Consairtín festival in April, a concert by musicians, Colm, Seán, and Liam Browne.

TUESDAY 

Ar Bhruach na Sionainne, R na G, 1.30pm: Katie Sands from Co Antrim presents traditional music and conversation from the University of Limerick.

Ríl an Ródaí, R na G, 2.05pm: Broadcasting live from Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy in Miltown Malbay, Co Clare, with some of Ireland's top traditional musicians.

The Alternative, 2FM, 11pm: Back into the Session Archives with Dan Hegarty: Katell Keineg (1992), Kormac’s Big Band (2010), and Sprints (2024).

WEDNESDAY 

Hot Mess, RTÉ 1, 6.30pm: An extended interview with Roger Hallam, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil.

The Alternative, 2FM, 11pm: An archival interview with Pillow Queens' Sarah Corcoran, ahead of their Iveagh Gardens headliner on Saturday, July 13.

THURSDAY

FRIDAY 

Lyric Live, LyricFM, 7pm: Kensho Watanabe conducts the orchestra in a programme including Ravel and Brahms, and Alex Murphy of The Young Offenders fame narrates Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.
