Kings of Fuji Music,Pasuma ( real name Wasiu Alabi Odetola) and Malaika ( birth identity Sule Alao Malaika) are set to go head-to-head in a clear cut battle of influence regarding the number and quality of their followings.

They have both been contracted to headline different shows at this year’s Lafose Day.

Lafose Day is a yearly cultural celebration at Ode – Remo in Remo North local government area of Ogun state.

It is usually celebrated on the first Saturday in August.

The 2024 edition of the event that has hosted the likes of Wasiu Ayinde Marshal as far back as the 80s – according to those in the know – will take place on Saturday August 3.

While Pasuma is scheduled to perform at Restfiled Hotel and Suites on Kotco road, Malaika is earmarked to do his thing at the Ode Remo Town Hall by the market square.

Both performances are late night events.

It is, however, instructive to note that while the show to be headlined by Malaika is “free”, Pasuma’s performance is labelled “strictly by access card” with platinum table priced at N500.00, Gold – N300.00k and Silver – N200.00k with VIP and Regular pegged at N10.00k and N5.00k respectively.
