Christians have been charged to live righteous life as God shall bring everything to judgment on the last day.

The charge was given at the burial service of the Late Mrs. Caroline Okoli, mother of the Chief Executive Officer of De-Graceland Estate, Mr. Okechukwu Okoli.

Mrs. Okoli was buried at her husband’s compound in Amaokoro village, Ezira, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Delivering sermon at the service, Pastor Paul also enjoined Christians to eschew back-biting and bitterness.

In a farewell address, son of the deceased and Chief Executive Officer of De-Graceland Estates, Mr. Okoli, and his elder brother, Mr. Samuel Okoli, said the death of their mother was a lesson to them on the transient nature of life on earth, and on the need for total submission to God in all their affairs.

They described their mother as an icon who impacted many lives positively and gave them secrets to success as entrepreneurs, which they said are helping them to excel in their different endeavors.

Anambra State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Forster Ihejiofor, and his Environment counterpart, Engr. Felix Odimegwu, who condoled with family of the deceased, noted that the late Mrs. Okoli made her own mark here earth.

In their separate remarks, a daughter in-law to the deceased, Rosemary Okoli, and a family friend, Oluchi Akude, described the deceased as a mother who welcomed them without discrimination, and said that life will never be the same for then without her around.

The late Mrs. Okoli, fondly called “Iru Ugogbe”, died at the age of eighty-six; and was until her death, a devoted Christian and business woman.

Her burial ceremony was attended by members of the political class, realtors, entertainers and content creators, religious leaders, captains of industry, among others.
