APC Felicitates National Secretary, Senator Basiru At 52

LAGOS – The All Progressives Congress (APC) felicitates its National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, PhD, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday anniversary. 

A congratulatory message signed by Felix Morka, Esq., National Publicity Secretary of the party read, “Fondly called SRJ by friends, associates and teeming supporters, our great party celebrates a consummate administrator, patriot, grassroots politician, a brilliant political tactician, and staunch progressive who has walked a long political promenade with his membership of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) which morphed into the Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and, eventually, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Our party has been immeasurably bolstered by Senator Basiru’s role as National Secretary to which he has brought a wealth of experience from his illustrious record of public service as a legal luminary, federal lawmaker and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs in the 9th Senate, among other memberships of eminent committees of the National Assembly. 

“Since assuming office as National Secretary, Senator Basiru has contributed hugely towards building effective and innovative systems for Party administration, promoting internal democracy, and strengthening structures of organization of our great Party at all levels and making the Party more effective in advancing the implementation of President Bola Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope agenda for a sustainable and more inclusive development of Nigeria. 

“On behalf of our National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, members of the National Working Committee (NWC), leaders and members of our great Party, we wish our National Secretary a happy birthday anniversary. 

“We join his family, friends and well-wishers in prayer for more wisdom, excellent health and many more years of useful service to our country and humanity,” he added.
