The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ibadan branch (The  Premier  Branch) has felicitated indigenes of Ibadan, on the ascension to the throne of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Ibraheem Folarin Bello, FNSE and made available to journalists on Friday, NSE Ibadan noted that the momentous occasion marks the beginning of a new era for our cherished city, under the esteemed leadership of a revered and visionary traditional ruler.

The statement reads in parts:”Your Majesty, your ascension to the throne is not only a testament to your unwavering commitment to the values and traditions of Ibadanland but also an embodiment of the collective hopes and aspirations of its people. We are confident that your reign will herald a period of unprecedented growth, unity, and prosperity for all.”

“As engineers, we are dedicated to the development and progress of our society through innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable practices. We look forward to working closely with Your Majesty to ensure that Ibadanland continues to thrive as a beacon of excellence, cultural heritage, and technological advancement.

“We pray that your reign be long, peaceful and filled with remarkable achievements.”
