Target Stores Make Checkout Process Easier with Two Major Changes

apexlifehub.com 2 days ago

Two major changes are set to revolutionize the shopping experience at Target stores, making the checkout process smoother and quicker for customers.
Goodbye Checkbooks

Starting July 15, Target will no longer accept personal checks as a form of payment. This move aims to streamline the payment process and eliminate the extra steps associated with writing a check. With half of shoppers under 55 still using checks, this change is expected to speed up the checkout process significantly.

Express Self-Checkout

In addition to the elimination of check payments, all Target stores will soon limit self-checkout transactions to 10 items or less. This change is designed to cater to customers who only have a few items to purchase, ensuring a speedy and efficient checkout process. While the express self-checkout lanes may not always be open, each Target location will have the flexibility to set their own hours for self-checkout availability based on store needs.
With these two major changes, Target aims to enhance the overall shopping experience for its customers by reducing wait times and streamlining the checkout process. Happy streamlined shopping awaits at your nearest Target store!
