Powerful warned that IPOB is aware of these secret meetings and will expose the individuals involved if they continue to sabotage Kanu’ s release. He emphasized that Kanu has not committed any crime locally or internationally and that his continued detention is a violation of the Appeal Court’ s judgment and an affront to the Igbo people.
IPOB accused these politicians of working against the interests of the Igbo people and urged them to retrace their steps. The group also stated that it has been monitoring the activities of these politicians and will not hesitate to expose them if they continue to frustrate Kanu’ s release.
This development comes as a surprise to many, as it was expected that Igbo politicians would be working towards Kanu’ s release, given his popularity and influence among the Igbo people. However, it appears that some of these politicians have other motives and are working against the interests of their own people.

The South- East governors have also come under criticism for their alleged role in frustrating Kanu’ s release. Many have accused them of being complicit in Kanu’ s detention and of working against the interests of their own people.
As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether Kanu will be released anytime soon. However, one thing is certain- IPOB will continue to fight for his release and will not hesitate to expose those working against their leader and the Igbo people.
