Supported by 40 corporate patrons, £1 will be donated to charities for every lap completed around the stadium. Bal Kaur, deputy director of public health in the city, emphasized the importance of promoting exercise to enhance physical and mental well-being. Personalized Fitness: Participants have the flexibility to spend as much time as they wish at the event, returning multiple times throughout the day. A personal chip will track the number of laps completed, offering a personalized fitness experience. Ms Kaur highlighted the benefits of exercise for overall health, including building stamina, burning calories, and improving heart health, all while contributing to a charitable cause. Supporting Local Charities: All proceeds from the event will benefit The Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre, Central Youth Theatre, and The Rotary Charitable Trust. Since its inception in 2013, the challenge has raised over £180,000 for charity, showcasing the community's commitment to fitness and philanthropy.
