There are multiple universities including central, state and private in Uttar Pradesh that admit candidates to their undergraduate programmes through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). Universities including Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University use CUET scores for UG admission.

Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) draws admissions from candidates from across the country and abroad. The university uses CUET UG scores to admit students in all UG courses. A total of 193 courses are offered by the university at the four levels – diploma, UG, PG and doctoral. The official website of AMU is– amu.ac.in

Last year, AMU accepted admissions to eight courses through CUET – BSc (Hons) community science, BA (hons/research) in Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit, and women’s studies, BVoc – production technology, BVoc – polymer and coating technology, and BVoc– fashion design and garment technology.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow, also known as BBAU Lucknow was established in 1996 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. BBAU Lucknow provides 50% seat reservation to the students of the SC/ST category. The university uses CUET UG scores to admit students in all UG courses. There are over 100 courses are offered by the university at the four levels – UG, PG and doctoral level courses in the fields. University of Allahabad

Established on 23rd September 1887, it is the fourth oldest University in India, after Calcutta, Bombay, and Madras University. At present,there are 12 colleges are running under Allahabad University which offers various full-time courses at UG, PG, diploma, and doctorate levels in the domains of Science, Humanities, Accounting & Commerce, Law, Business & Management Studies and so on. Allahabad University has 32 academic departments which offer over 130+ courses in 4 different streams. Banaras Hindu University

Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This creative and innovative university was founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916.
