Pastor Mathew illustrated this with examples from Scripture, including Daniel, who found favor in Daniel 1:8-9, Mary in Luke 1:30, and Peter in Luke 5:1-7. He elaborated on the purposes of favor, stating that it makes life easier and more appealing, attracts influential individuals, provides good speed in life, and leads to divine announcements.
Verses from Psalms, Samuel, and Corinthians supported these points, emphasizing that favor leads to supernatural provisions from both God and man.
To provoke God’s visitation, which brings about this favor, Pastor Mathew highlighted the importance of righteousness, seeking the welfare of others, the power of mercy, and the force of praise.
He quoted Psalm 5:12, Proverbs 14:9, and Acts 2:47 to emphasize these actions.
He reminded the congregation that divine remembrance precedes divine visitation, stressing that there are no accidental visitations.
