Eric Nwibani, the secretary of the caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State, has disagreed with former governor, Rotimi Amaechi, over remarks stating that those who have agreed to work with his successor, Nyesom Wike, are doing so because they cannot withstand hunger.

Nwibani dragged Amaechi for his alleged lack of leadership skills in uniting the party and his recurrent electoral losses.

He claimed that their decision to support the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, despite belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is as a result of their allegiance to President Bola Tinubu, who they believe endorses Wike, compelling their support for him.

Nwibani said:

“Those persons are not hungry. I am not.

“And I know that Victor Giadom is not hungry, I know that Ojukaye Flag Amachree is not, Engr Sampson Ngerigbari and many others are not hungry.

“So he’s the only one who is not hungry?.

“And all those who have chosen to associate themselves with whomever they want, to support who they want which is within their right are now being abused and described as ‘being hungry’, that they could not endure huger that is why they switched loyalty and decide to support the President and the FCT minister.

“If you carry that bitterness from that presidential primaries that you lost into the general elections, you tried to convince people within the party to support Atiku, and they say No, they insist on voting for and supporting the president.

“And I insisted on remaining with the President and the person he has chosen as minister from Rivers State in the cabinet of the president.

“They decided to support the President’s choice, the Minister the President has chosen, and by so doing support the President himself.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
