Nigerian artiste Rema is going to release his sophomore album “HE IS” this Thursday, July 11th. The 6-track album features only two guest appearances – from fellow Nigerian artistes Shallipopi and Odumodublvck.

“HE IS” follows Rema’s debut studio album, “Raves & Roses,” which was released on 25 March 2022. The album includes guest features from Chris Brown, 6lack, AJ Tracey, and Yseult. The lead single, “Calm Down,” has over one billion streams on Spotify with a remix version featuring Selena Gomez.

The “Raves & Roses” album has put Rema on the map, further building a loyal fan base who are now awaiting the release of his next body of work.

The two featured artists, Shallipopi and Odumodublvck, are both upcoming artistes in the Nigerian music scene.

Additionally, Rema’s EP, “HE IS” will have six tracks. They are;

Furthermore, Rema is embracing a new sound and aesthetic with this new album. The teasers of the album have a gothic atmosphere marking a new turn in Rema’s artistery.

Debuting in 2019, Rema’s music is well-received by the public, judging from the many local and international awards he has. Some are the Headies Award for Next Rated Artiste, Billboard Music Award for Top Afrobeats Song, and MTV Video Music Award for Best Afrobeats Video.

Rema’s next album, “HE IS” will be out on all major streaming platforms on Thursday.
