Retro everyday Tesco item you may have at home is being flogged for £299
We all know that supermarket bags don't come for free these days.
For the past few years, we've been forking out 30p for our carrier bags from our favourite shops. However, it seems like one retro Tesco carrier bag could earn you a lot more, with a shopper selling a 14-year-old supermarket carrier bag for £299.
An eBay listing shows the Every Little Helps plastic bag, which has been put in a frame. The listing reads: “Tesco Every Little Helps plastic carrier bag. 2010 discontinued, framed.”
The seller is looking for £299.99 “or Best Offer”. However, you do get free delivery for that price.
The listing has quickly been shared around social media – with a lot of people having their say on it. One person asked: “Who has one of these hiding in the back of a cupboard? You might be minted.”
Someone else said they had 'loads of the bags' at home. And a third person quipped: “Could have ironed it. What a chancer.”
We'll have to wait and see if someone snaps it up!
