The Delta State Government has commenced the distribution of food palliatives to the Poor and Vulnerable House Holds, widows and Persons with Disabilities across the 25 Local Government Areas of the State.

Few days after Governor Sheriff Oborevwori flagged off the 3rd phase of the State palliative distribution to vulnerable residents, he has commencement the exercise with 11 Local Government Areas.

Secretary to the government who is coordinating the process at the DAPA warehouse Ibusa, Kingsley Emu said in the coming days the other 14 Local councils areas will get their share to cushion the effects of economic situation.

Apart from this assistance, the Delta state government, through the MORE grant scheme is reaching out to the informal sector of state.
