Pest control specialist, Zach Smith says that he's seen more bugs than ever this year thanks to the changing climate. The warmer weather and ample food ramped up their reproductive rate.

So, if you've noticed lots of bugs, you aren't alone. 

According to specialists, pests only show up in the best conditions. Residents should be mindful of where you are choosing to spend time.

Things like standing water or food that's sitting out are going to attract more bugs. It's recommended to use repellent early as it takes time for those products to kick in and work. 

Another tip, is to be mindful of your landscaping. If you are using mulch, keep it fairly dry. Also try to avoid any other puddling or too much standing water.
