West Ham United are eyeing up a bargain summer transfer window deal to sign someone who impressed in the Premier League last season.

The summer transfer window is a vitally important one for West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui, as he tries to rebuild the unbalanced squad left behind by David Moyes.

The Hammers boss has already made three signings this summer – Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.

Whilst it’s been a good start to the summer window for West Ham, a lot of work still needs to be done, and Lopetegui is said to be prioritising strengthening his attacking ranks even further still.

Ideally, the Spaniard will sign a right-footed left winger, after Said Benrahma left the club to join Lyon on a permanent deal.

The big problem he faces is that he hasn’t got endless funds to play with.

So the West Ham boss may well have to go bargain bucket shopping this summer, certainly for a couple of signings at least…

West Ham eye Jacob Bruun Larsen summer transfer window deal

According to a report from Kicker, Hoffenheim star Jacob Bruun Larsen is on the radar of West Ham this summer.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan in the Premier League with Burnley, and scored six goals in 32 Premier League outings.

Bruun Larsen is at his best when playing out wide on the left wing, but he can also operate on the right wing or even in the number 10 position if need be.

That kind of versatility will undoubtedly prove to be very attractive indeed to West Ham manager Lopetegui.

He could be available for a bargain £6 million fee this summer (Alan Nixon), and that would represent an unbelievable deal for the Hammers in this day and age.

He proved with Burnley last season that he’s more than capable of making a difference at Premier League level.

With money fairly tight at the London Stadium, Lopetegui will undoubtedly be on the lookout for some real bargain deals.

And West Ham won’t be able to secure a more value for money signing in the summer transfer window than Bruun Larsen for just £6 million.
