The FCT Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping unit has rescued two female victims, Mart Ojadi, and Evelyn Chinaza, , who were kidnapped by gunmen in Guto village, Bwari.

This was made known in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Josephine Adeh.

She said the police, in collaboration with DSS agents, tracked the kidnappers to Gauraka Forest, Niger State, and engaged them in a fierce gunfight , forcing the criminals to flee with injuries.

The victims were rescued unharmed and have since been reunited with their families.
