“Innovation, Science and Technology (IST) should be guided by well-established policy with desire to solve identified problems and increase visibility for the state which would eventually enhance the realization of the Advance New Direction and Developmental Plans of His Excellency; Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,” she said.

Dr Adeniyi explained that the eventual comprehensive blueprint and strategy, would aim to catalyze the state’s transformation into a vibrant hub for innovation – Ododo Innovation Technology Solution.

She added that by “leveraging the power of innovation, science and technology, and in synergy with Kogi State Development Plan 2024 – 2056, handed over by our visionary state leader and Former Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello; Kogi State can unlock new opportunities, address complex challenges and create a prosperous and sustainable future for all its citizens.

“This ministry holds the promise of serving as a catalyst for innovation, a hub for tech-driven solutions, and a beacon of progress in our state.”
