10 Early Match Predictions For AEW All In 2024
AEW All In London 2024 is the next PPV on AEW’s calendar, and the promotion will be looking to continue the momentum from a series of very strong events this year thus far. All In will undoubtedly be their biggest show in scale - but will it be the best?
The build to AEW All In has already begun, though no official matches have been made just yet. When looking at the next two months, there are some logical paths that AEW’s programming is likely to take in order to set up a whole load of matches. The following are potential bouts fans could see under the spotlight of Wembley Stadium on August 25.
In recent weeks, The Bang Bang Gang and The Patriarchy have come across each other’s paths, teasing an eventual AEW World Trios Championship match. For names such as Jay White and Christian Cage, their involvement at Wembley is a given, so putting them each in a trios title match makes sense to get them on the card.
AEW will have to do a good job of getting fans invested though since these titles have lost a whole load of momentum in recent times.
TNT Champion Jack Perry has various enemies, and his path to All In could see him end up facing a variety of different names, but the most logical right now seems to be Mark Briscoe, whose troubles with Perry have been building each and every week.
Briscoe recently aligned himself with Team AEW at Blood & Guts - something Perry did not take kindly to. Seeing Briscoe on a stage such as Wembley would be fantastic. For Perry, it will be a return to the venue where he infamously set things in motion for a backstage brawl with CM Punk.
One of AEW’s least entertaining feuds has been between Chris Jericho and Hook, which has now branched out to include their respective new factions. Even though fans are tired of seeing Jericho & Hook go at it, it is logical to assume that it will continue to All In.
Every AEW PPV card usually has a wild, hardcore style of brawl, and it makes the most sense for it to be this one.
Kris Statlander’s heel turn on Willow Nightingale was expected, but the moment was still great, kickstarting a very enjoyable rivalry. Although Nightingale picked up a victory over Statlander in the Owen Hart Cup, this feud is far from over - which is a good thing considering it has been a highlight of the women’s division.
AEW has a massive roster of female wrestlers, but which of them stand out as the best? And who needs to up their game?
If AEW builds this well enough, then it could be a featured match on the All In card, taking the tally from one women’s match last year to three this year, which would be a very big sign that changes are occurring in the women’s division.
Mariah May is on the brink of earning herself a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship, in the process facing her ally Toni Storm. May and Storm have been closely aligned for some time now, but there have been teases here and there over potential tension that could emerge.
With a match at All In, this could take many different directions such as a respectful match between friends, or a clash which leads to the demise of their camaraderie. May is one of the most promising stars in AEW and she is from the UK, so featuring her makes sense.
For many weeks, The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass have taken aim at The Elite, competing against each other in a variety of matches thus far. The Acclaimed won an eliminator, earning a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. When looking ahead to All In though, it would make the world of sense for Kazuchika Okada and Billy Gunn to get involved too.
A winner takes all match for the tag titles and Okada’s Continental Championship could well be on the cards, adding high stakes to this trios encounter.
Ever since MJF’s return to AEW, he has crossed paths on more than one occasion with the International Champion Will Ospreay. When MJF turned heel and brutally attacked Daniel Garcia, things then got personal.
Ospreay and MJF looks like a match nailed in for All In, and on paper it is truly one that could main event a show as huge as this. Whether it be a singles match or triple threat involving Daniel Garcia, expect to see Ospreay and MJF go toe-to-toe in a match of the year contender at All In.
Mercedes Mone has finally embraced the criticism from fans and looks to have turned heel, looking far more comfortable in that role. The face of AEW’s women’s division, Britt Baker, returned to challenge her at Forbidden Door.
Their interaction on the following Dynamite heavily implied a match at All In, and it could truly be a match to take the division to the next level. They had chemistry on the microphone, so it will be intriguing to see if this translates to the ring.
One of the greatest rivalries in ROH history came between Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness, who had multiple classics throughout their time in the company. McGuiness hasn’t wrestled since 2011, but he has teased a return in recent years, getting into phenomenal shape. If he is to come back, it will be against Danielson.
AEW has been around for five years and there've been some epic feuds in the history of the company. Here are the very best AEW feuds ever.
With Danielson on the precipice of retiring from full-time competition, there is a short window for him to have this match. McGuinness has made it clear on commentary of his continued distaste for Danielson, so the match has been teased already. If it doesn’t happen here, it will never happen.
The rivalry between Swerve Strickland and Adam Page is one of AEW’s greatest, battling it out in a blood feud in 2023. Adam Page’s recent return has seen him embark on what looks to be a heel turn, which makes him the perfect foe to the now babyface Swerve Strickland.
This is a match which is more than worthy of headlining AEW’s biggest show of the year due to the great story told, the freshness of the roles being reversed in the latest chapter, and the chemistry they have showcased previously.
