Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City must win all of their remaining three games if they are to be crowned Premier League champions again.

Last season’s Treble winners are on the cusp of winning their fourth consecutive top-flight crown in England but face stiff competition from Arsenal.

The Gunners ran them close last season but faltered in the latter stages of the season, which is a contrast to how their current campaign has gone.

Mikel Arteta’s men have lost just once in the league in 2024, to Aston Villa in April.

But City still have the upper hand in the race for the top spot and can win the coveted trophy by two points if they win their remaining games.

Guardiola insists that his players need to do exactly that or the prize will be heading to North London this year.

He said: “If we win the games we will be champions, so the players know it, feel it, and have the experience of doing it in the past. But they have to do it again.

“It’s going to be easy? No. It’s in our hands but everyone knows you cannot make one little mistake because you will lose the Premier League. They know it, we know it.

“You see their [Arsenal’s] level of consistency since the winter break, the way they are playing.

“It’s not the fact that they are winning, it’s the way they play. You smell that they are not going to lose in the games they have left. They are not going to.”

City have been in great form themselves despite being dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

They thrashed Wolves 5-1 at the weekend and head to Fulham on Saturday before taking on Tottenham where they have never won in the league since the North Londoners moved into their new stadium.
