BILLINGS — Two big fifth innings turned the tide for the Billings Blue Jays Wednesday night at Pirtz Field in Billings as the Jays defeated the Richland Patriots in a doubleheader 6–0 and 13–4.

The score was 2–0 in favor of the Blue Jays midway through the fifth inning of the first game when the Blue Jays posted four runs to take a 6–0 lead. The Patriots had a 4–0 lead midway through the fifth inning of the second game when the Blue Jays put up six runs to take the lead and closed out the Pats in the bottom of the sixth with seven more runs.
