Get Your NOUN Certificate: 2024 Distribution Guidelines
NOUN is distributing certificates to 2024 graduates from 15th July to 2nd August. Collect your certificate from your study centre with your final and alumni clearance, and a valid ID. Postgraduate students need to submit bound copies of their dissertations. No extra fees required. Keep reading to know all the steps and what you need to bring.
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) certificate distribution for 2024 graduates will begin soon. The Vice-Chancellor has directed that the certificates for graduates of the 2024 convocation be distributed promptly.

The distribution exercise will take place from Monday, 15th July 2024 to Friday, 2nd August 2024. Centre Directors are to collect the certificates from the Academic Registry between Monday, 8th July and Friday, 12th July 2024.
Graduates must follow these guidelines to collect their certificates:
Graduates must visit their state capital study centres. Those in the Federal Capital Territory and Lagos State must visit their respective study centres.
Graduates must present their duly signed and stamped final clearance from the Bursary.
The alumni clearance must also be presented before collecting the certificate.
Graduates must present either their NOUN student ID card or an original national ID card, international passport, voter’s card, or driver’s licence for sighting. A photocopy of the ID must be attached to the clearance for submission before the certificate is issued.
All graduates will receive a convocation brochure along with their certificate after meeting all the requirements.
Graduates of MEd, MSc, and MA programmes must submit bound copies of their corrected dissertations (with evidence sighted) to receive their certificates.
Graduates should not pay any additional fees for certificate collection. If there are any outstanding fees, they must be paid through REMITA to the university’s official accounts.
All unissued certificates and related documents of issued ones should be returned to the Academic Registry by Friday, 9th August 2024.
