The founder and sponsor of Ezekweche vanguard, a strong political support group that powered the winning of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as Governor in Anambra State in the last election, Chief Dr. Anthony Okeke (Ezekweche Aguleri) and former President of Mandilas United Traders Association, Lagos Trade Fair complex, has opened up on why he has dumped Soludo.

Explaining in an interview, he said his group did everything possible to help the current governor to win election, but till today, none of his members or himself have been compensated by the state government for their electoral support.

According to him, to avoid such sad experience and understanding the pedigree of the Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in politics and self-help development efforts across Anambra, he has collapsed his vanguard into the Ikemba Front which is going for Senator Ubah governorship under the All Progressive Congress (APC) come next election in 2025.

At the grand reception on Ezekweche Vanguard recently, Chief Dr. Okeke assured his members of success and gains in joining the Ikemba front for Ubah come 2025 election and thereafter.

Over 10,000 Ezekweche Vanguard members from across Anambra East and West were welcomed into the fold of Ikemba Front for Ubah.

As a way of growing the now expanded campaign structure, Chief Dr. Okeke was announced as the Head of Anambra East and West Support group for Ikemba Front and also the Coordinator of the Ikemba front for Senator Ubah in Lagos State.
