TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo man appeared before a judge Monday and has been scheduled to go to trial in August for a robbery that occurred in June.

According to court records, Kyle Moran was indicted in June on charges of aggravated armed robbery and robbery. According to the records, on June 15, Moran robbed two people at gunpoint on June 15 at a Red Roof Inn.

The victims told police they were sitting in the parking lot working to find a DoorDash order to make extra money. The victims said that is when Moran approached the vehicle holding a gun.

Moran appeared before a judge Monday and was appointed a lawyer. His trial is set to begin on Aug. 27.
