Senate To Resume Plenary On Thursday June 27th

The Senate will resume Plenary Session on Thursday after the Sallah Break.

The Spokesperson of the Senate , Senator Yemi Adaramodu confirmed this to Journalist on Wednesday Afternoon.

The Senate had adjourned its sitting to the 2nd of July to Celebrate Sallah, however it decided to resume earlier to address National and Constitutional Matters .

Senator Adaramodu says the Senate hopes to deal with issues concerning further oversight on the Appropriations and other issues of constitutional and electoral concerns.

He also says the upper Legislative Chamber will consider outstanding bills and motions, before proceeding for its annual recess, later in the year.
