With consumers seeking value in today's economy, the resale sector is witnessing significant growth, as retailers continue to enhance their secondhand offerings. Kleinfeld Bridal, renowned for being the set of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress, has launched a new online marketplace called KleinfeldAgain for pre-owned wedding dresses, offering brides a global platform to buy and sell wedding gowns. Sellers can join this commission-free marketplace for $9.95 per month and upgrade for greater visibility. Each dress undergoes a stringent verification process by Kleinfeld Bridal to ensure authenticity, offering a personalized experience for users.

Kleinfeld Looks to Connect with Brides Around the World

Ronnie Rothstein, Co-owner of Kleinfeld Bridal, expressed excitement about KleinfeldAgain, stating the platform aims to extend their expertise in the bridal industry globally. This initiative caters to sellers looking to recover costs from their dream dress and brides on a budget seeking premium designer looks.

On the other hand, New Balance has introduced its Reconsidered program to 100 retail stores, expanding from its successful online resale platform. In collaboration with Archive, this program includes both customer-originated and brand-owned imperfect products, with customer-supplied items selling notably faster. Customers can now trade in their gently used footwear at participating stores, receiving vouchers for future purchases based on item conditions. New Balance partners with Tersus to clean and list the items on the Reconsidered marketplace or donate unsellable products. Trained staff use Archive's trade-in app to facilitate transactions in-store, enhancing the customer experience.
