LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Season 3 of 'The Boys' wrapped up with satisfying answers to burning questions, shedding light on Soldier Boy's mysterious past and unveiling the potential powers of Homelander's son, Ryan Butcher.

Through its expertly crafted satire, the show continues to mirror the superhero obsession intertwined with real-world parallels to the American military-industrial complex. The season kicked off with a bang, echoing the infamous NSFW Ant-Man and Thanos meme that dominated pre-'Avengers: Endgame' discussions.

While the show diverges from its source material, it remains highly relevant, keeping audiences engaged even if they're familiar with the comics.

While the much-anticipated new season is approaching, here's what to expect from 'The Boys' Season 4.

Homelander has all the support he needs from the public

Homelander's (Antony Starr) situation has taken quite the ride in season 3. Beginning the season on the defensive for his controversial relationship with the Nazi-loving Stormfront (Aya Cash), Homelander is slowly losing his mind from the pressure from Vought and the public. He believes himself a god, yet he's still a puppy on Vought's leash.

Well, not anymore. As the season continues, Homelander builds a cult following after publicly decrying his corporate overlords and claiming himself the Big Alpha. With no one to hold him back, Homelander has the freedom to do what he wants.

With no restraints, Homelander's ego will be off the charts next season. With his followers revering him as a god and no one with the power to stop him, Homelander is on a pathway to absolute power. Next stop, the White House?

In the upcoming season of 'The Boys', the focus will likely center on the fate of Homelander and Becca Butcher's son, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti). The young boy has been pivotal in the conflict between Butcher and Homelander, with the entire world's future at stake.

After accidentally using his powers to kill his mother, Becca entrusted Butcher with Ryan's care. However, Butcher's actions in Season 3 led to Ryan being returned to the custody of his psychopathic father.

Now under Homelander's influence, Ryan's future looks bleak. Can Butcher reclaim Ryan, or will Homelander corrupt him into a new villain?

Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), after years of seeking vengeance against the supes, has finally evens the odds. Introduced to Temp V, a drug offering temporary superpowers, Butcher eagerly indulges, injecting himself multiple times. Yet, this newfound power carries a heavy price tag.

The experimental drug, lethal in nature, reveals its consequences in the season's climax. Butcher learns he has only a year to a year and a half left to live. This revelation forces him to reassess his approach to dealing with Homelander next season.

Perhaps their 'scorched Earth' showdown will arrive sooner than anticipated.

Victoria Neuman poses a great threat in 'The Boys' Season 4

Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) has deviated from her comic book counterpart throughout most of the series, but one aspect aligns: her upcoming role as Vice President of the United States. By the end of Season 3, she secures a position of immense influence, making her the prime target for the Boys.

With power in her hands, what will Neuman do? Will her uneasy alliance with Homelander reach a breaking point as they both vie for control? Or will she, like her comic counterpart, submit to Homelander's demands out of fear?

Annie (Starlight) is with The Boys now

Annie (Erin Moriarty) has endured much since joining the Seven and reached her breaking point. Witnessing her friend's brutal murder by Homelander and the villain's continued adoration pushed her over the edge, leading her to quit the Seven for good.

Now, after a democratic decision, Annie joins the Boys, determined to take down abusive supes. Working alongside Hughie, their relationship faces another test.

Will their bond strengthen after the finale's events, or will working closely together strain their relationship?
