Beginning with the top scores he achieved with his Lagos FA board members, that truly thrilled and excited the over 15 different states FA Chairmen at the President Federation Cup, Gafar Liameed, and his team of the FA board, received high commendations for organising a most memorable cup finals, that has got most football administrators, drooling in excitements.

24 hours later, and on the heels of the successful hosting of the President Federation Cup, was the finals of the maiden edition of the Ex-Internationals Cup, organised by Lagos State Football Association.

In the tournament that saw 32 ex-Nigeria internationals competing for honours, it was FC Nwosu that eventually emerged champions, defeating FC Ekpo to win the giant trophy and the top prize.

The hat-trick of this momentous feats, came with the signing of 36 Lion FC product, Tijani Mohammed for Plymouth FC, in the English championship.

The signing of the lanky and tall Tijani Mohammed, by Plymouth City is expected to help former Manchester United star, Wayne Rooney, achieve his promotion ambitions to the next level of the English football Pyramid.
