Butler County motorcycle crash leaves 1 dead, sheriff’s office says

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - A 38-year-old man is dead after he crashed a motorcycle into a pole on Sunday evening, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of West Alexandria Road at approximately 7:46 p.m. for a report of a motorcycle crash with injuries.
According to the sheriff’s office, the motorcycle was traveling southeast on West Alexandria Road near Dickey Road when it went off of the left side of the road and hit a pole.
The Madison Township Fire Department transported the 38-year-old driver to Atrium Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing his name until his family is notified.
