Leicester told £15 million offer not enough for 24-year-old winger, Chelsea and Everton also keen
Leicester City’s £15 million offer for an exciting Paraguayan forward will not be enough this summer according to the selling club’s president.
After returning to the Premier League at the first time of asking, Leicester City suffered a huge blow when their superb manager Enzo Maresca was lured away from King Power Stadium following an offer from Chelsea.
In Maresca’s place came Steve Cooper, whose most recent job in the Premier League came with Nottingham Forest before being sacked by the East Midlands club at the midway point of last season.
The Welshman has a big job on his hands this summer but it appears one reported offer they have made is not enough.
According to ABC Journalist Bruno Pont, who posted on X, the Foxes have made a £15 million offer for Paraguayan winger Ramon Sosa, 24, from Argentine side CA Talleres.
However, Pont claims that the president of the Argentine club Andres Fessi believes the offer made by the Midlands club is not enough.
“The offers that have arrived do not satisfy what the player represents,” Fassi said, as quoted by Pont.
Despite the winger reportedly having a release clause in his contract at £15,800,000, and Leicester offering £15 million, the Foxes will have to raise their offer by £800,000 if they want to sign the winger.
