According to the statement which was shared by Sahara Reporters, Ngelale had said, “After his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting scheduled for April 28-29 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.”

However, the presidency did not state when President Tinubu will be back in the country.

The President was expected to make a public address to the civil servants on May 1st, being Workers’ Day, but he didn’t. He also did not attend the last Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

However, on Thursday, Sahara Reporters had made an exclusive report claiming that the President travelled to Paris, France, from Saudi Arabia, although this was not confirmed by the presidency.

The absence of the President in the country had made many to take to social media to ask where the President is. Some said that the whereabouts of the President should never be a subject of speculation. They said that Nigerians deserve to know the whereabouts of their leader.

In his reaction to these questions, Shehu Sani said, “Why are you asking about the whereabouts of Mr President? Allow him to rest in Europe. If he comes back home now and removes the subsidy on something or jerks up the price of another thing una go de complain.”...READ FULL ARTICLE
