As a result of the fact that the obstinate monarch refuses to "do as he's told" and disobeys the orders of the physicians to slow down, Queen Camilla is scared that her husband, King Charles, who is afflicted with illness, is working himself to death.

After being diagnosed with the fatal disease in February, the English king, who is 75 years old, has been undergoing therapy as an outpatient. It has been stated that he has taken on a full workload since beginning treatment.

His Majesty is "doing fine except for the fact that he won't slow down and won't do what he's told," according to Queen Camilla, who is 76 years old.

On June 6, frail King Charles and Queen Camilla traveled to France for a British memorial honoring the servicemen who stormed the Normandy beaches on D-Day in World War II.

“It is with the most profound sense of gratitude that we remember them and all who served at that critical time,” King Charles stated. However, he skipped an international ceremony the following day.

The resolute monarch was present during the renowned Trooping the Colour ceremony that took place in London on June 8. In this instance, King Charles heeded the counsel of his concerned physicians and did not go horseback riding. Instead, he was driven in a horse-drawn carriage while seated next to Queen Camilla.

Since he was crowned in May of 2023, this was his second time participating in Trooping the Colour as per ABC News. While this is going on, his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, who is 42 years old and the Princess of Wales, has avoided going out in public while she is also facing cancer, as reported by Great Britain. It is not anticipated that she would resume her royal duties before the end of the year.

When physicians discovered that Prince William's wife had cancer, it was announced that she underwent abdominal surgery, which some people believe was a secret hysterectomy. Officials from the palace have confirmed that this treatment ended up taking place.

“Both Charles and Kate are doing the best they can under bad circumstances. But Kate seems to be in dire straits while His Highness, the king, is not at death’s door right now. But that could change in a heartbeat if [King] Charles stubbornly continues to ignore his physicians,” a palace courtier told Globe Magazine.
