Nollywood actor Femi Ogedengbe has talked publicly about a terrifying experience he had a few years ago when a rich man tried to persuade him to take up a drug smuggling job.

During an interview on Teju Baby Face's show, the actor asserted that he was on the verge of becoming a drug smuggler.

Femi Ogedengbe stated that a wealthy man invited him to Shoprite and offered him N3 million in exchange for taking products overseas. The man claimed he was ready to help Femi because he recognized that he had gone through a difficult time.

The seasoned actor noted that from how the man was talking, he realized the business he wanted to offer him was drug smuggling, even though he did not say it directly.

Femi Ogedengbe said that he later shared his experience with his wife after he got home. He took his notebook and jotted down everything, including the date of the said event.

To keep him from being persuaded to accept the offer, they prayed for a different ending and God's guidance.
