Nigeria forward, Mercy Idoko, has signed a new one-year contract with Portuguese women’s top-flight club, Racing Power Football Club.

Idoko earned a new contract following her impressive performance for Racing Power last season.

The former Nigeria youth international registered six goals and three assists in 32 outings for the club.

Racing Power made it to the final of the Portuguese Cup but lost to Benfica.

She was in the books of Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) club Nasarawa Amazons before moving abroad.

Idoko was part of the Falconets side that reached the quarter-final at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
