Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Carlton Cole has approved of recent rumours linking West Ham United with signing Raheem Sterling from Chelsea.

The 29-year-old England international was one of the first high-profile arrivals of the Todd Boehly era in the summer of 2022 but has failed to live up to such heights since moving to Stamford Bridge.

As a result, it has been speculated recently that CHELSEA could look to offload Sterling and his hefty wages this summer and look to sign an immediate replacement that can make more of an impact on the side

Cole represented both clubs during his career and believes Sterling would be a good signing for West Ham. However, sources have told football.london that the former England international is set to stay at Stamford Bridge for at least another season.

The comments from Cole came in conversation with Gambling.com: ‘Raheem Sterling has been linked and I’m a fan of his. I think Raheem on that left-hand side cutting in would be a good acquisition for us and that just shows you what (Julen) Lopetegui is trying to do if that is the standard of player we’re getting linked with now.

Look, Sterling has been quality for quite a few seasons and can have his moments – but he has simply not been good enough in that Blues shirt over the past few seasons and it would not be a shock to see him leave the club.

However – despite the fact he would be a very good signing for the Hammers – we cant see them offering him that £300k-a-week wages that he currently gets at CHELSEA – it is well out of their wage budget.

CHELSEA OFFERED JADON SANCHO –

Manchester United representatives have reportedly offered Jadon Sancho to Chelsea this summer as they seek to offload the former England international.

Before Sancho made that move to Man United just a few seasons ago – he was rated as one of the best and most creative wingers in the Bundesliga and a man that could add about 20 assists a season.

The move to Man United was meant to be tat next step in his career – but issues off the pitch and the inability to get on with his boss – coupled with some dodgy performances has meant that he did not live upto expectations – and was shipped back to Borussia Dortmund on loan.

But Sancho has scored three goals and registered one assist in all competitions for Dortmund since returning to the club on loan in January and looks every bit like the player he was just a few seasons ago, but he is still expected to pack his bags and leave Man United this summer window.

TEAMtalk reports United are also said to be open for a loan move with an obligation to buy the south London native next summer. A heavily incentivised deal featuring add-ons and bonuses is allegedly another route the club would consider.

Dwight Yorke recently encouraged CHELSEA to make a move to try and sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho: “It’s an uncomfortable situation for Jadon Sancho, the manager has won the battle in the end and he’ll look for a way out of Man United now,” he said via Best Payout Online Slots.

“If Sancho played under Erik ten Hag again and had one bad performance, everyone would be pointing their finger at him. Sancho is more than good enough to play for another team in the ‘Big Six’, he’ll want to play for another top team.

“He might go on another year-long loan to a top club, maybe CHELSEA or abroad somewhere like Barcelona, then he’ll see if Ten Hag gets sacked, then he can kick-start his Man United career. If I was Sancho, I’d sit tight for a bit and negotiate a loan so I can see the manager’s situation.”

KELLYMAN WANTS TROPHIES-

Omari Kellyman has opened up and revealed why he made the decision to join Chelsea from Aston Villa this summer window.

Kellyman, an 18-year-old attacking player, was seen as a big prospect inside Villa Park and Chelsea first enquired about him in January before making a firm move this month.

Chelsea have clinched the deal for Kellyman, who will sign a six-year contract with the option of a further 12 months and was initially valued at £20 million by Villa.

The expectation is that Kellyman will join CHELSEA’s first-team squad for pre-season, but could be loaned out next season to get more senior experience and prepare him for the following campaign.

‘That was a big attraction for me,’ he explains. ‘I have seen young players stepping into the team and playing week in, week out, in the Premier League and I feel like I will be able to take my opportunity as and when it comes.

‘I want to be successful in the Chelsea shirt; to win games and hopefully trophies. [Over time] hopefully, I can become one of the faces on the side of the stadium. I want to become a big player for this club.’

This is a massive decision from the lad to move across London and join CHELSEA– we are just hoping that he is not sent out on loan for a bunch of seasons now that he has joined the club.

He clearly has the talent to develop into something special – he is not the signing that Blues fans wanted to see arrive this summer – but it has happened and now he needs to work even harder to make sure he is given a chance at Stamford Bridge
