Mr. Joseph Aloba, who is the father of the late singer Mohbad, has revealed why he has not granted permission for the burial of his son. In a video that was posted by TVC News, during an interaction with a TVC News correspondent, he made it known that he wants to know who they gave the placenta of Mohbad’s son to, saying that he needs the DNA and autopsy before Mohbad can be buried. In his statement, he said, “I was surprised when Mohbad’s wife mentioned it, that is why I recollect and am wondering who handled the placenta. We, the family of Mohbad, are supposed to take care of his son’s placenta, but I was so surprised when that was taken away from me. But then I did not see it as something bigger, but it was later that I realized that there must be something behind it. I want to know who they gave the placenta, that’s why I need DNA and an autopsy before burial. I will wait till we get the result, if we are not satisfied with the result, I’m sure that the whole world is looking at us, and they will support me to take care of the body and to get the real result.”
