An Ikorodu-based woman who went viral after listening to a song by renowned artist Wizkid has denied receiving N50 million from him.

The lady, known as @je_ponmoe_gbogboikorodu on TikTok, became popular a few days ago after posting a video of herself singing along to Wizkid’s Open and Close single.

The video quickly got over two million views and spread over social media, attracting the attention of Wizkid fans who rushed her page.

Addressing speculations of receiving N50M from the singer, the woman revealed that her DM has been flooded since the rumour sprung.

Clarifying the reports, she emphasized that Wizkid did not send her money while using the medium to call out her phone number for financial support from the singer.

“Help me! People have been bothering me that Wizkid gave me N50M; help me! I have over 50 account numbers in my DM. I don’t have anything o, help me. Some have even named me Mama Wizkid. I did not receive any money,” she said in the Yoruba language.
