Fi.Fest music festival just around the corner

Fi.Fest’s ‘family music festival’ is returning this year - with its first-ever two-day event – on July 12-13 in Fifield.

Scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday next week, this year's festival promises a weekend filled with music, a range of entertainment, and activities for children.

Kicking off the festival on Friday night is Fi.Fest inaugural ‘Friday night party,’ a festival pre-party featuring in its line-up:

  • Barrioke – sing along to classic hits with EastEnders star Shaun Williamson
  • Guns 2 Rose – the ‘ultimate’ Guns N' Roses tribute band
  • Matthew Allman – soulful tunes from a Slough artist with 15 years’ experience
  • The Courtland Stories – a trio belting out a blend of indie, folk and pop music, and winners of Maidenhead Fringe Festival Battle of the Bands 2023.

The Saturday Main Stage highlights on July 13 will showcase 90s legends and contemporary stars, including:

  • CAST – relive the 90s in Britpop
  • Heather Small – the powerful vocals of the M People lead singer
  • Rick Parfitt Jr – rock out with the son of the late Rick Parfitt, of Status Quo fame
  • Kevin & Perry DJ Set – nostalgic DJ set to keep the party going.

The Second Stage will be presented by the returning Third Lung, which blends Britpop crossed with ‘epic 21st Century rock’.

This stage will feature seven up-and-coming bands, catering to a variety of musical tastes.

Finally, family fun can be found in the Kids Zone packed with activities included in the ticket price. Youngsters can enjoy an inflatable Bounce Park, laser tag, kids’ theatre, kids’ disco, arts and crafts, giant sandpit and medieval knights themed activities.

Fi.fest takes place on Forest Green Road, Fifield.
