Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), a Centrally Funded Technical Institution and an Institution of National Importance, Government of India; Bahadurpur, Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh-229304; has invited applications for admission to B. Tech. & Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) programmes for 2024.

B Tech Programmes are offered in (i) Chemical Engineering (ii) Chemical Engineering (Major: Petrochemicals and Polymers Engineering) (iii) Chemical Engineering (Major: Renewable Energy Engineering) (iv) Computer Science and Engineering (v) Computer Science and Design Engineering (vi) Electronics Engineering (vii) Electrical Engineering (Major: E-Vehicle Technology) (viii) Mechanical Engineering (ix) Information Technology (x) Mathematics and Computing (xi) Petroleum Engineering (xii) Petroleum Engineering (Major: Applied Petroleum Geoscience).

Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) Programs are offered in (i) Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (This is a 5-year dual degree programme. At the end of it, the students will receive both B Tech and M Tech Degrees) (ii) Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (This is a 5-year joint dual degree programme of RGIPT and Penn State. The students will receive the B.Tech. Degree from RGIPT and the MS Degree from Penn State)

Eligibility: Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) rank. Applicants need minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 12. RGIPT doesn’t offer any preparatory course and hence preparatory rank in JEE (Advanced) will not be considered.

Vacant seats, if any, may be filled from JEE (Mains) 2024. Applicants need 80% aggregate (75% for SC/ST) in Class 12.

Application Fee is Rs. 600/- + Rs. 108/- (Taxes) for SC/ST/PwD and female Candidates and Rs. 1200/- + Rs. 216/- (Taxes) for all other candidates.
