RC Flyers Club hosting fly-in at this year’s Jasper Strassenfest
JASPER, Ind. (WFIE) - The Jasper RC Flyers Club is bringing together the RC flying community at Strassenfest this year.
Organizers say fly-ins are a staple of the hobby and provide an opportunity for enthusiasts to share the flying field, enjoy fellowship and learn from each other.
Club officials say the event will feature talented pilots from around the region, showcasing planes of all shapes, sizes and uniqueness.
“These skilled pilots will make the aircraft dance in the sky, offering a spectacular show for all attendees,” said an RC club spokesperson. “It’s an excellent opportunity for families and individuals of all ages to experience the thrill of RC aviation, witness incredible flying skills, and enjoy a day of fun and learning.”

Doors open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. The fly-in is being held behind the Dubois Recycling Center at 1103 S 350 W. in Jasper.
