Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ an 'illusionary' masterpiece: Makers release VFX breakdown video

The makers of ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’, which was a huge success in theatres and OTT, have released the VFX scenes used in the movie. The Guruvayur temple itself was recreated for the film after spending crores. However, a video has now been released that reveals how VFX were used to make the scenes more perfect. The video makes it clear that along with the set itself, VFX have been used in the film with care and precision.

A 360-degree view of Guruvayoor temple can be seen in the movie. Art director Sunil Kumaran prepared the set in just 45 days. A huge set was built in Kalamassery for the movie reportedly at a cost of around Rs 4 crores.

The replica set and VFX were done by the crew in a way that never felt artificial. The VFX work for the film was done by Digital Turbo Media.

‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ is a film directed by Vipin Das under the banner of E4 Entertainment and Prithviraj Productions. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, Anaswara Rajan, and Nikhila Vimal in lead roles.
