Emohua Govt-Recognised Traditional Rulers Congratulate CTC Chairman

 Government Recognized Traditional Rulers in Emohua Local Government Area have congratulated the Caretaker Chairman of the LGA, Hon. David Omereji, over his appointment.

While applauding the choice of Omereji as CTC Chairman of Emohua by Governor Siminalayi Fubura, urged him  to fast-track growth and development across the 14 Wards of the LGA.

Receiving  the traditional authorities across five communities in Emohua LGA, Hon. Omereji thanked them for maintaining peace in their various communities while also promising to pay outstanding benefits owed them by the immediate-past administration.

He announced the dissolution of all standing committees and also directed that all council properties be returned to the Head of Local Government “with immediate effect as defiance to this directive would be met with consequences”.

He also announced the appointment of Barr. Chizy Enyi as Chief Press Secretary.

Monarchs drawn across communities in the LGA in attendance include: His Royal Highness, Eze Damian A. Ejiowhor. Nnewe-Eli, Rundele, N’Ugbo; His Royal Highness Eze Christopher Nlerem Didia, JP, Nyewe-Ali Egbeda/Ubimini; His Royal Highness, Nnewe-Eli Odegu Kingdom, HRH Ohna C.O. Elechi; and His Royal Highness, Dr. Wobodo Sunday Jonah, Nyewe-Ali Ibaa/Obele, Uvuahu.

Accompanying the traditional rulers, who represented Emohua, are Stakeholders of the LGA, such as the Commissioner for Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Charles Beke, who is also the leader of the Simplified Movement in the LGA; Hon. Fubara Ohaka, and Hon. Adiele L. Ogbor.
