Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man takes on Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock in brilliant Venom: The Last Dance art, bringing the Marvel icons together. The future of Sony's Spider-Man Universe remains up in the air, especially as Venom: The Last Dance will be the final movie in Hardy's series of Marvel films. As Eddie and the Symbiote go into their final adventure, they have yet to encounter Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, despite these movies existing in a shared universe that is directly named after the web-crawler, and the MCU timeline teasing a potential crossover.

While Kraven the Hunter is set to come out after Venom: The Last Dance, there is no telling if Spider-Man is ever going to show up in the franchise. As the world waits for Venom: The Last Dance, Art of Time Travel shared new art featuring Hardy's Venom finally getting to have his showdown with one of the live-action Spider-Men, fighting against Andrew Garfield's version of the Marvel hero.

The Marvel crossover art brings the popular showdown idea to life, as many fans have wanted to see Garfield's Spider-Man and Hardy's Venom cross paths on the big screen. Art of Time Travel's piece are combining shots from the various Venom movies and Garfield's appearance as part of the cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With only one Venom movie left with The Last Dance, it's the last opportunity for Sony Pictures to feature some version of Peter Parker's Spider-Man.

Will Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man Actually Be In Venom: The Last Dance?

When Venom first kicked off Sony's Spider-Man Universe, there were a lot of theories that this new set of Marvel films actually existed in the same world as Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. Even though Marc Webb has had no involvement with the films, there were similar tones and aesthetics to The Amazing Spider-Man movies with Garfield, suggesting that perhaps this is all in the same continuity. As the actor never showed up in Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, many have hoped that perhaps a Spider-Man appearance by Garfield was being saved until Venom: The Last Dance.

The idea of Garfield's Spider-Man appearing in Venom: The Last Dance seemingly got shut down in the first trailer. However, even if the characters aren't part of the same world, it would still not be impossible for Hardy's Venom to encounter Garfield's iteration of Spider-Man. As Eddie and Venom have now taken part in the multiverse concept thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home, a crossover could still happen in Venom: The Last Dance if they somehow get sent to Garfield's universe or if he comes over to theirs.

But as of right now, there are no signs pointing towards Garfield reprising the role of Spider-Man in Venom: The Last Dance. Unless Sony Pictures managed to keep a secret appearance under wraps, Venom: The Last Dance is looking like it will, once again, not feature the web-slinger in any capacity. Once another Venom: The Last Dance trailer gets released, perhaps more clues about the Marvel hero's status in this universe will be hinted at as Hardy wraps up his trilogy.

Venom 3 is the third and final installment in Sony's symbiote trilogy starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. It follows the events of Let There Be Carnage, where the anti-hero fought serial killer Cletus Kasady, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Brock was briefly transported to the MCU through the multiverse.
