1). KYC/Due Diligence Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • We are looking for a KYC/Due Diligence Officer to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. You will also review employees’ work and provide advice on compliance. The main goal will be to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner while meeting our business objectives.

What you’ll get to do

  • Carry out quality assurance aka second-level review of KYC Documents of customers to ensure appropriate documents were provided for the products they subscribed to.
  • Implement annual field compliance plans across the agent base of TeamApt.
  • Be responsible for ensuring PEP & UBO registers are up to date and in line with best practices.
  • Play an active role in reviewing policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices.
  • Develop, coordinate, and oversee internal and external audit procedures for monitoring and detecting any misconduct or noncompliance; if any misconduct or noncompliance is detected, recommend a solution and follow up to ensure that the non-compliance is resolved
  • Provide general advisory support and guidance on KYC related enquiries.
  • Carry out CDD & EDD on customers of TeamApt.
  • Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.
  • Report to the Chief Compliance Officer concerning the organization’s compliance level with AML/CFT/CPF and Customer Due Diligence laws and regulations.
  • Handle any other task assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer

To succeed in this role, we think you should have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years of Compliance experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Compliance Certification e.g. DCP or ACAMs
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the business area.
  • Ability to interpret laws and regulations in light of operations.
  • Deep knowledge of the TeamApt’s Products, Services, Processes and Policies

2). Team Lead, KYC/ Due Diligence

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary:

  • The quality assurance officer is responsible for identifying quality problems in repaired terminals. They will closely work with the technicians and inventory team to test repaired terminals, identify and document defects of terminals that do not comply with standards. They are majorly responsible for preventing defective terminals from reaching Business that could result in costly returns.

Job Description:

  • Quality Inspection: Conducting thorough inspection of repaired terminals to identify any defects or deviations from standard.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that repaired terminals comply with the specified standards, guidelines and technical requirements before distribution.
  • Visual Inspection: Careful inspection of quality of repaired terminals through visual examination.
  • Testing Procedures: Implementing testing procedures using test sheets to validate the functionality and performance of repaired terminals.
  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of quality inspections, test results and issues identified during the test process.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with repair technicians, engineers and relevant teams to address and rectify quality issues.
  • Workflow process: Developing and implementing workflow of terminal collection and returning of non-conforming terminals to inventory.
  • Stock keeping: Keeping proper and accurate records of received and returned terminals.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall repair quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by his/her Line Manager.

Requirements:

  • OND/ HND, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in terminal repair is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
